Yamada Kogyosho's woks are made using the "Uchi-dashi" method, where each wok is hammered several thousand times.
Uchi-dashi" is a process of pressing a flat iron plate and then beating it again and again with a special machine equipped with a hammer, while turning the wok by hand to make it into a wok shape.
Since each product is handmade by the hammering method, each product may have minor scratches, welding marks, and scuff marks.
Due to the production process, the surface of the product may have traces of manufacturing, which may look like scratches at first.
Also, due to the high heat treatment used when welding the handle, there may be color differences and peeling of the black skin.
