    An elegant green plaid oval cardboard hat box, 13 1/2” x 13” x 6 1/2”, bearing the name of
    Kevin McAndrew, Hat Maker,
    apparently a luxury brand of
    Resistol
    (Byer-Rolnick). Dates probably to the 1950s or 1960s. The box comes complete with the
    cardboard platform
    inside for the proper upside-down storage of your Kevin McAndrew fedora or homburg, as well as a textured
    plastic strap
    with brass buckle to hold the lid on. Box is in very good condition for its age, with not much evidence of wear or use other than one place on the edge of the lid where a strip of tape was ripped off.
