DOSE: Introduce 1 tablespoon of powder into a
cup of warm water. Stir until dissolved. Add 1/3
of the mixture to every 10 gallons of aquarium water.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
BUFFEX PLUS
is an effective
chemical blend for * Maintenance of Alkalinity and pH
at 8.0 to 8.3 * Buffering the Water * Supplemental
Trace Elements * Improving Ionic Balance.
BUFFEX PLUS
is ideal for all Brackish and high pH aquatic environments.
This product, used as directed, is all fish and invertebrate
safe and will not effect the biological filter bed.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Stir the tank water when the liquid
mixture is being introduced to the aquarium. Test the pH.
Continue to add mixture and test pH until desired range
has been reached. Do not alter pH by more than 0.2 units
per treatment. Repeat treatment every 3 hours until de-
sired pH is obtained. Always monitor pH with a reliable test
kit. When
BUFFEX PLUS
is used regularly is will keep the pH
stable. If the pH is found to shift, stabilize it by using
pH 8.0
