When antibiotics are not yet indicated, this is
the treatment of choice for VELVET infections
.
Use
every other day for 3 days at 1 drop per net gallon.
Each one ounce bottle treats
600
gallons.
DOSE: First remove carbon filtration. Shake very well.
Add 1 drop to each NET gallon of water. Use when receiving
new fish (for prevention) or when disease occurs (for control).
To control parasites on fish, treat every other day for 5 days
(3 treatments are suggested). Repeat treatment in 3 days if
necessary.

as directed will not harm the biological bed.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Do a partial water change using
SHIELDEX
before
treatment. For advanced cases use
RES-Q
during
SVP
treatment. If
live foods are being fed to fish, treat weekly to prevent possible
infestation.
SVP
can be removed from the tank water by adding
carbon to the filter.
